Eva Mary (Koehler) Smith Nargang
April 5, 1922 – March 26, 2001

A private family inurnment will be held Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.
Memorials may be directed to the Colonial Manor in Elma or Hospice of North Iowa.

Eva Mary Nargang was born April 5, 1922 in Riceville the daughter of Charles James & Myrtle (Patterson) Koehler. She attended school in Riceville. She resided in Texas for 25 years. In 1975 she returned to Iowa and resided in New Hampton.

She was united in marriage to Ed Nargang on December 21, 1978. She worked as a nurses aid at the Health Care Manor now the New Hampton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by three daughters: Paula Richardson of Richmond, Texas; Roberta Stanwood of Houston, Texas; Linda Sheridan of Marion, Iowa; one son-Thomas Smith of Houston, Texas; one brother, Walter Koehler of Toano, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ed Nargang; one daughter, Arlene Holschlag and two brothers.
