Funeral services were held Saturday, May 26 at 2 p.m. in the Wayne Baptist Church of McIntire for Lloyd Emil Nelson, 60, who passed away May 23, 1973 at his home in McIntire. The Reverend John Gilbert officiated at the services.

Lloyd E. Nelson was born September 19, 1912 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Emil and Esther Nelson. He was employed as a sheet metal worker.

He is survived his wife, Etta, McIntire; one son, Lloyd Henry Nelson, Arlington, Virginia; three grandchildren; 1 stepson, Harold Eastman, Waterloo, Iowa. 1 step grandchild, four brothers, Richard, St. Paul, Minnesota; George, St. Paul, Minnesota; Robert, Lakeland, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

Interment was in Wayne Cemetery in McIntire, Iowa with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
