RITES ARE PLANNED FOR MRS. MCKAY, 41, IN RICEVILLE CHURCH

Riceville – Funeral services will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church here Friday for Mrs. Maude McKay, 41, who died last Friday at Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Father O’Sullivan will have charge of the services to be held at 9 p.m. The Shoop Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are a brother, Earl Foster, farmer near Riceville, and several cousins. Her parents and a sister preceded her in death.

She had lived in New Mexico for 10 years because of ill health.

Maude Foster was born March 1899 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of Frank E. Foster and Genevieve (Davis) Foster. (Maudes birth date from 1900 US Census)

She was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville, Mitchell, Iowa
