Mrs. Fannie Amelia Orcutt

Mrs. Orcutt, who is well known in this community and at Stacyville, both places of where she formerly lived, passed away at the home of her daughter, in Waterloo, Iowa, October 9, at the age of 73 years.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Fred J. Clark, and the body was brought to Osage on the afternoon train for burial beside her husband on the family lot, following a short prayer service by an old friend, the Rev. Van Swearingen, and the Rev. J. I. Walker.

Fannie Guernsey was born August 20, 1851 in Pennsylvania. While a young girl she came to Iowa with her parents, residing at Stacyville for some time. Later she moved her, and was married to Joseph W. Orcutt, who died in 1896.
