Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2 at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church of Riceville for Florence B. Hammerstrom, 74, who passed away on May 31, 1973 at Rochester, Minnesota. The Reverend Maurice Gunn officiated at the services.

Mrs. Hammerstrom was born September 23, 1898, in Petersburg, Illinois, the daughter of Newton and Ella Lounsberry.

Mrs. Hammerstrom is survived by two sons, Kenneth, Riceville and Dennis, Milnor, North Dakota; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, 1967; one son, Donald, 1973; one brother, one sister and one grandchild.

Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville with the Chisholm Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
