MRS. HENRY BUSHMAN
BROUGHT HERE
FOR BURIAL THURSDAYThe body of Mrs. Henry Bushman was brought to Osage last Thursday afternoon from her home in Stewartville, Minnesota, and after funeral services at the cemetery chapel, was buried in the local cemetery beside relatives.
Mrs. Bushman was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brackenbury, former Osagers, who moved from here about 15 years ago. The Brackenbury family lived for a number of years on one of the Tusler farms, later buying the residence now owned by William Tabbert, where they resided until moving away from here.
Mrs. Bushman was only 24 years of age, and besides her husband, is survived by two babies, one 6 months old and the other a year and a half old. The cause of death was tuberculosis.
The Bushmans are prominent Stewartville people, and a large number of friends accompanied the body here. A Stewartville minister preached the sermon, and pall bearers were also from that place. Her father was here, also a brother and two sisters and the husband and children. Three others of the family have preceded her in death and are buried on the family lot.
