FUNERAL HELD
JANUARY 13

Private funeral services for Mrs. Edward (Augusta) Bookhart, 86, who died on Wednesday, January 10, at a Mason City hospital, were held Saturday, January 13 at the Patterson-James chapel in Mason City. Rev. R. Stone, pastor of the First Congregational church, officiated.

Mrs. Bookhart was born August 5, 1881, near Brighton, to John and Mary Sinn. She was married to Dr. Edward W. Bookhart in 1904 at Lawton.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sherwin (Ila) Kittleson, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Charles (Velma) Grippen, Mason City, with whom Mrs. Bookhart made her home, and Mrs. Edward (Eunice) Buse, Fort Worth, Texas; also eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Anna Gentner, Miami, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, at Mason City.
