GEORGE H. EDGINGTON

George Hannibal Edgington, son of George and Massie Edgington, was born in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, on July 12, 1850, and departed this life in Osage, Iowa, on April 13, 1928, aged 79 years and 9 months.

Mr. Edgington came early to Iowa with his parents, and spent all his life near or in Osage. On May 1, 1888, in Charles City, he was united in marriage to Stella Baker, of that city.
This couple lived happily together until she was taken from him Oct. 15, 1922.

Mr. Edgington lived a quiet, retired life because tempermentally he was quiet and retiring. He was a good neighbor. He is the last of a family of eight children. His nearest relatives are his many nephews and nieces, who mourn their loss.

The funeral was held Monday forenoon at 10 o'clock at the Champion funeral home, the Rev. E. B. Frye in charge, and burial was in our cemetery.
