Julius Anderson was born January 16, 1891 at Cedar, Mitchell, IA to John Gerhard Anderson and Karen Gudbrandsdatter Liaeker (Licker). Julius was the third of 5 children. His siblings were: Gustav Johann (1886-1918); Gina Louise (1888-1908); Lise (1894-1954) and Anders (1896-1976). (Obituaries for the above can be found at this Gen Web site.)

Julius was confirmed on May 28, 1905 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

1895: Julius Anderson age 4.

1900: John G. Anderson 40, Karn Anderson 41, Gustav Anderson 14, Gina L. Anderson 11, Julijns Anderson 9, Lise Anderson 5, Anders Anderson 3, Gulber Licker 71.

1910: John G. Anderson 50, Karen Anderson 51, Gustave Anderson 24, Julius Anderson 19, Lizzie Anderson 15, Andrew Anderson 13, Gulljar Larson 81.

1915: Julius Anderson age 24.

1920: Julius Anderson 28, Andrew Anderson 23, Lizzie Anderson 25, Karen Anderson 61.

Julius married Mathilda Maria Johanson on May 10, 1927 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Iowa. (Mathilda was born April 28, 1895 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to Jens Johannesen and Ingeborg Gulbrandsdatter, she died February 14, 1988.)

The couple had a son, Kenneth Irving Anderson (born April 27, 1928, died April 29, 1929, both at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa).

Found Julius and his wife in the 1925 and 1930 censuses at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, farming:
1925: Juline Anderson 34, Lizzie Anderson 30, Karen Anderson 60 (Lizzie's mother, Karen Gudbrandsdatter Liaeker Anderson).

1930: Julius Anderson 39, Matilda Anderson 35.

Julius Anderson died June 1979 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
