RICEVILLE, IOWA — Stanley Goodbrand, 72, of Riceville, died Monday, Nov. 6, at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Minneapolis, of cancer.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; four daughters, Mary Kay Clausen of Elk River, Minnesota, Connie Goodbrand of Riceville, and Nancy Rassman and Linda Bayer, both of Forest City; a son, Larry of Riceville; stepdaughter, Janice Floyd of Panguitch, Utah; a stepson, Jim Bohneman of Rockford, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Cecil; and two sons, Stanley Jr. and Gary.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riceville. Inurnment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Riceville, with full military honors by the American Legion of Riceville. There will be no visitation, the body was cremated. Friends can visit the family at the home of Mrs. Stanley Goodbrand, 504 Walnut St., Riceville.

Conway Funeral Home in Riceville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Goodbrand worked 17 years on the Chicago Northwestern Railroad.
