It becomes our painful duty this week to chronical the death of Gertrude Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wood of this city which occured last Monday afternoon. Gertrude had been suffering for the past six weeks with the disease and was slowly convalescing when she was taken with a severe hemorage of the bowels, and expired soon after. She died at the age of 13 years.
