Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 1987 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, for Anna Kurina, 90, of Osage. Rev. L. Connolly will officiate, and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Mrs. Kurina died on Monday, February 16, 1987 at an Osage nursing home. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Wednesday and a scripture wake services will beheld at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Kurina was born on May 26, 1896 in Czechoslovakia to Martin and Anna (Behtin) Miller.

she moved to the United States in 1910 and married Tony** Kurina on August 3, 1912, in Chicago.

The couple moved to the Osage area in 1918 and farmed until 1970 [?]. They then retired and moved into Osage. Mr. Kurina died in 1983.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Rose) Cicha of Bellwood, Illinois; a son, Rony, Jr. of Austin, Minnesota; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers and a sister.
