MAYER, Donald 1936-1987

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 5, 1987 at Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville for Donald Mayer, 50, a former Riceville Resident. Mr. Mayer died on Tuesday, February 3, 1987 at the Schoitz Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. Father J. Carpender officiated and burial was in Calvary cemetery, Riceville.

Donald was born on March 21, 1936 to Paul and Anna (Meyer) Mayer in Riceville.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Anna Mayer of Riceville; four sisters: Mrs. Gladys Niedert of Waterloo, Mrs. Kathleen Hummel of Riceville, Mrs. Mary Ann Shane of Riceville, and MRs. Ruth Condon of New Haven; five brothers: Charles, Leonard, William and John Mayer all of Riceville and Marvin Mayer of Waterloo.
