Died February 15, 1911

Ludema R. Haney was born in Alabama on July 13, 1846, and passed away in Osage, Iowa, February 15, 1911 at the home of G. W. Thomas where she was employed as housekeeper.

In 1948 her parents removed to Wisconsin and in 1863 came to Osage and this has since been her home. In the fall of 1871 she married to Mr. Albert Gray who died several years ago. Three children were born to this union, only one of whom is living a son whose home is at Orchard. She is also survived by one sister living at Red Valley, Iowa and one brother whose home is in Minneapolis.

For several years Mrs. Gray has been obliged to provide for herself and has been employed as housekeeper for Mr. G. W. Thomas in the Third Ward, and it was at his home that she was stricken with her fatal illness.

The funeral was held last Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. L. T. Foreman of the Baptist church.
