Frankie Culmsee (nee Colbertson) Rainey Freiheit – September 16, 1898 – April 23, 1998

Frankie Culmsee Colbertson was born September 16, 1898 in North Dakota, the daughter of George Nicholas Colbertson and Ann Margaret (Culmsee) Colbertson.

Her first husband was Edward Roy Rainey. He was born April 12, 1896 in Winchester, Clark County, Kentucky.

They had 4 children; Edward Frank Rainey; Donald G Rainey; Lola Marie (Rainey) Rundgren; and Margaret Lucille (Rainey) Odden.

Her second husband was Emil Carl Freiheit. He married Frankie (Colbertson) Rainey August 4, 1959, at Charles City, Floyd, Iowa.
He farmed in Chester Township, rural Lake City, until 1947. For the past 15 years they lived in Rochester and he was night clerk at the Norton Hotel. He was born July 6, 1888 and died October 26, 1974 in Minnesota. He was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester, Minnesota.

Frankie died April 23, 1998 in Rochester, Olmsted, Minnesota and was buried in the First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa

Her daughters married names are from her son Edward Frank Raineys obit posted to Mitchell Obits on January 31, 2012, which names them as Lola Rundgren (Earl) of Starbuck, Minnesota and Lucille Odden of Lake Preston, Kingsbury County, South Dakota.

Lola Marie (Rainey) was born May 17, 1924 in Minnesota and she married Earl Stanley Rundgren who was born July 12, 1917

Margaret Lucille (Rainey) Odden was born April 17, 1929 in St. Ansgar, and she married Mayland Odden. Her husband was born February 26, 1922 and died September 24, 1994 in Lake Preston, South Dakota.
