Funeral services for Donald G. Rainey, 53, who died April 25, 1975, were held April 25 in Phoenix, Ariz. and memorial services and burial in the First Lutheran cemetery here May 17.

Donald Gale Rainey was born October 15, 1921, the son of Edward and Frankie Rainey. The family moved to Grand Meadow, Minn. where he was confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from Grand Meadow high school.

He served in the Armed Forces for four and a half years in foreign countries. He married Patsy Rae Crooks, and they were the parents of two daughters, Lynn Marie and Gail Lea.

Mr. Rainey is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters and three grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Frankie Freiheit of Rochester, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Lola) Rundgran and Mrs. Mayland (Lucille) Odden; three brothers, Edward of Whittier, Calif., Roy and Ray of Little Rock, Ark.
