Wilma Kroneman, 89, of Grafton, Iowa died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services wil be held March 29, 2008 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Township, Osage, Iowa with Rev. Wayne Ellingson and AiM Irmgard Ellingson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Wilma Eleanor (Rosel) Kroneman was born March 20, 1919 to George and Anna Runge Rosel Sr. She was baptized May 18, 1919 and confirmed April 9, 1933 by Rev. Paul Brammer at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, Iowa. She was married April 13, 1941 to Lloyd A. Kroneman at Trinity Lutheran Church, Osage, Iowa by Rev. Elmer Yohr.
Wilma taught elementary school for 4 years and substituted 2 years. She taught Sunday school 15 years at St. John's Lutheran Church. She was a Worth County 4-H leader for 20 years, and Worth County Committee Woman for 4 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters Severa Rosenberg, Esma Hartwig, and Norma Gerlach; 1 brother Lawrence Rosel.
Wilma is survived by her husband Lloyd Kroneman of Grafton, Iowa; son Lowell (Judy) Kroneman of Grafton, Iowa; 2 daughters Judith (Chuck) Hansen of St. Ansgar and Barbara (Mark) Postl of Swisher, Iowa.
One brother George (Marla) Rosel, Jr., of Bertram, Iowa; two sisters Leola Ruehlow of St. Ansgar; and Doris Erdmann of Northwood, Iowa; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
