STACYVILLE, IOWA - Mrs. Mike Weber, 93, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Kate Heimer, Thursday, after a two week's illness; nee Anna Mary Schumaker, born March 23, 1854 in Alsace Lorraine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schumaker.
At the age of three she migrated to the United States and came overland to New Ulm, Minnesota, where they lived until the time of the Indian massacre, when they moved to the Stacyville community on what is known as the Nick Theobold farm, and later to Stacyville.
In November 1873, she was married to Mike Weber; to this union 12 children were born, two died in infancy, and three sons in later years; John, Matt and Frank.
She leaves the following children: Joe, Alta Vista; Mrs. Frank Heimer, Stacyville; Andrew, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Jack Lombeski**, Minneapolis; Alex, Osage; Art, North St. Paul, and Mrs. Karl F. Gerhart, Austin; 41 grandchildren, and 51 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers Soveiry (SP?) Society of the Catholic Church. She had made her with her daughter, Mrs. Heimer, the last 10 years. She had been active all winter sewing some new clothes by hand.
Funeral was here Saturday.

One source has her date of birth as March 25 instead of March 23 as the newspaper stated.
**Lombeski - should be Lorbeski. He was John Louis "Jack" Lorbeski. He was born November 2, 1890 and died June 18, 1949 Olmsted Co., Minnesota. He married their daughter Rose Josephine Weber. She died in California.
