Graveside committal services will be held today, Wednesday, May 28, 1986 at the Osage Cemetery, for Leslie W. Mahone, 87, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, formerly of Buffalo Center and Clear Lake. The Rev. Keith Hejnal of the United Church of Christ in Osage officiated.

He died on Saturday, May 24, 1986 at his home in Fayetteville.

Ge was a civil engineering instructor at Iowa State University at Ames for 20 years, and later opened an office at Clear Lake, providing extensive city and county engineering services. He later accepted a teaching position in Arkansas.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sons, Lloyd of Westport, Connecticut, and William of Mason City; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Champion Funeral Home of Osage is in charge of arrangements.
