Ida Steelman, 82, of Yakima, Washington, died on Thursday, May 1, 1986, with burial in Yakima on Monday, May 5, 1986.

Mrs. Steelman was born on July 22, 1903 to Anton A. and Anna Marie Norby Lundene on a farm southwest of Osage. She was baptized and confirmed at Rock Creek Lutheran Church in rural Osage. On March 8, 1921, she married Elga Steelman of Little Cedar. They farmed in that area a short time, later moving to Minneapolis. In 1944, they moved to Yakima, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Mervin; her parents; and two brothers, Amos and Hans Lundene; four sisters: Olga Horgen, alice and Lora Larson and Mabel Nelson.

Survivors include a son, Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Maylo) Ogburn of Wapato, Washington; two grandsons, one great-granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
