Funeral services were held on Monday, May 5, 1986 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville for Inez Roe, 80, of McIntire. Mrs. Roe died on Friday, May 2, 1986 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage. The Rev. R. Pfeil officiated and burial was in the Wayne Cemetery near Riceville.

Mrs. Roe was born in 1905 in LeRoy, Minnesota, to Knute and Mary (Hiller) Iverson.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Darlene Betts of Mason City and Mrs. Ilene Ring of McIntire; and a son, Wendell Roe of Mason City.
