Ida Almeda (Frye) Erbe

March 27, 1862 – March 30, 1950

Osage – Funeral rites are pending for Mrs. Ida Erbe, 88, who died Thursday at her home having been ill of a heart ailment. She was born March 27, 1862, at Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin to Moses and Caroline Frye. She married to Jacob Erbe in 1880 and established their first home west of Osage. She retired to Osage in 1905.

She leaves three children; Judson, Rochester, Minnesota; Mrs. Swen Goldberg, Clitherall, Minnesota; Mrs. Leon Sewright, Orchard; eight grandchildren. Preceeding her in death were her husband, a son Raymond, and three brothers; Melvin, Harvey and William.

She and her husband are buried in the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa
