OSAGE – Ira Fowler, 71 died Sunday at the home of his only daughter, Mrs. Loren Bucknell, with whom he had made his home for several years.

He was born November 10, 1874 in Minnesota. At the age of 14 he came to Buffalo Center with his parents, and came to Mitchell County to settle at Osage in 1895, wher he had since resided.

He married Maude Sheldon, who preceded him in death in 1939.

He also leaves two brothers; Milo, Mankato, Minnesota; and Matthew, Bright Sands, Saskatchewan, Canada.
He came from an original family of 13. Body is at the Champion Funeral Home.
