MRS. CHARLES BOWER, MOTHER OF SEVEN, DIES; IS PNEUMONIA VICTIM
Osage, Feb. 6. – Mrs. Charles Bower, 42, died at 3 o’clock Wednesday morning at Nissen Hospital from pneumonia. She attended Cedar Valley Seminary.
Surviving are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Godfrey, southeast of Osage; brothers; Glen and Stanley; sisters; Mrs. Vern Tenney of Osage; and Mrs. Lester Austin of Aberdeen, S. Dakota; and children; Mrs. Aaron (Margaret) Hoel of Waterloo; Joseph, Dean; Dale, Phyllis, Herbert and Glenn of Osage.

Coralie M Godfrey was born May 7, 1892 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of George William Godfrey and Daisy Imogene (Welch) Godfrey. She married Charles Edwin Godfrey, the son of Adolph and Tamson Bower.
A daughter Virginia Ann Bower (1919-1920) preceded her in death.
Coralie was buried in the Osage Cemetery.
