JACK A. ANGELL – August 2, 1944 – January 24, 2000

NASHUA - Jack A. Angell, 55, of Nashua, died Monday evening (Jan. 24, 2000) suddenly at his home near Nashua of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 29, 2000) at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Nashua. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery, Osage.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua, with a rosary service at 3 p.m. and a scripture service at 7 p.m. There will be further visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Jack A. Angell was born Aug. 2, 1944, in Mason City to Andrew and Viola (Metz) Angell. He graduated from Osage High School in 1962 and Austin Technical College in Austin, Minn.

He married Kathy Rogers on Jan. 31, 1966 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage.

He worked at Hydrotile in Nashua from 1971 until its closing in 1991, and most recently worked at Winnebago Industries in Charles City as a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Nashua; two sons, Jeff (Maria) Angell, of Seffner, Fla. and Keith Angell, of Clarion; two daughters, Mrs. Kirk (Brenda) Harris, of Frankfurt, Germany and Mrs. Shawn (Lori) Leeper, of Maitland, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Andrea) Dammen, of Osage and Mrs. John (Beth) Griffen, of Marshalltown; his father, Andrew Angell, of Osage; six grandchildren, Megan, Kenneth and Ariel Harris, Stephanie and Christopher Angell and Dakota Leeper.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola (Metz) Angell.
