Edward Clarence Indra

March 12, 1884 – June 12, 1949

Osage, Iowa - Funeral rites will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart church for Edward Indra, 65, burial in Sacred Heart cemetery; died Saturday afternoon of a malignant illness having undergone major surgery two years ago.

He was born March 12, 1884 at Mitchell, to Joseph and Rosena Indra. As an infant he accompanied his parents to a farm west of Osage; here he lived until retirement in 1927; married Delphine Kachel in Wisconsin, February 23, 1914.

He leaves his wife, son, Ben, and one grandchild, all of Osage; three sisters, Mrs. Jack Warren, Salem, Oregon; Mrs. Phillip Fox, Mitchell, South Dakota; Amelia, Osage; two brothers, George, Des Moines; Joseph, Osage; one sister, Mrs. Sarah Deroo, preceded him
