JORDAN, Henrietta E.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 5, 1987 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, for Mrs. Henrietta E. Jordan, 80, of Austin, Minnesota, and formerly of St. Ansgar. She died on Friday, May 1, 1987 at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital. The Rev. N. Betke officiated and burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

She was born on May 29, 1906 in Barton township, Worth County, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Emelia (Hartwig) Walk. She attended rural schools in Worth County.

On June 15, 1930, she married George A. Jordan in Grafton and they farmed in Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Luella) Moe of Austin; a sister, Alfrieda Walk of Northwood; a brother, Robert Walk of Perham, Minnesota; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
