PIONEER IOWA RESIDENT DIED
COFFEE, 84, RICEVILLE, WAS ASSESOR MANY YEARS IN TOWNSHIPRiceville – Warren Coffee, 84, pioneer resident of Jamestown Township, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Errington, at McIntire Thursday.
Mr. Coffee was a well- known member of this community. He lived his mature years on the Round Grove Road three miles north of Riceville and was assessor of Jamestown Township in Howard County for many years.
Mrs. Coffee died about three years ago.
He leaves a son, Clifford, on the home farm at Riceville; a daughter; Mrs. Leo (Hazel) Arnold of Minneapolis; and another daughter; Mrs. John (Josephine) Errington of McIntire.Mason City Globe Gazette, Friday June 4, 1937
