Theodore Heller

May 8, 1879 -- February 9, 1965

Theodore Ferdinand Heller was born on May 8, 1879 near Riceville, Iowa. He was the son of Casper and Johanna (Mayer) Heller. Theodore was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church and has been a lifetime member.

On June 6, 1906, he married Mathilda Vollbrecht, who died on February 10, 1929. On October 20, 1937, he married Ella Miller, who died on January 27, 1949. On September 20, 1956 he married Alida Buttolph.

Die to infirmities of age, 85 years and 9 months, he passed away at the Riceville hospital, Tuesday morning, February 9, 1965.

He is survived by his wife, Alida; one son, William; and one daughter, Josephine (Mrs. L. J. Brown), all of Riceville; and one daughter, Dorothy Mae (Mrs. Kenneth Woodruff) of Valparaiso, Indiana.

Christian burial was held on Friday afternoon, February 12, 1965 with burial in the church cemetery.
