Victor William Tabbert 1898-1990

Osage – Victor Tabbert, 91, of Osage, died Friday, (September 21, 1990), at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Osage.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Osage, with the Rev. Joseph Nesheim and the Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery.
Visitation is after 3 p.m. Sunday at champion Funeral Home in Osage.

Survivors include one daughter; Mrs. Charles (Anna Marie) Catt, Independence; two sons, Delbert, Ford Dodge; and Gene of Osage; and one sister; Myrtle Schmidt, Newport, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two sisters.

Victor William Tabbert was born October 24, 1898 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, the son of William Frederick Tabbert and Anna Augusta (Schmidt) Tabber. He married Hazel May Smalley, the daughter of Eugene and Caroline (Johnson) Smalley.
