Stella A. Adams, 93, of 6701 College Ave., Windsor Heights, died of a heart ailment Monday at Urbandale Health Care Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams, a homemaker, was born in Stacyville and moved to Des Moines in 1958. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and her church's Auburn Rosary Society.

Surviving are a daughter, Alice Frein of Des Moines; a son, Stanley of Cary NC; a brother, Joseph Wolf of Overland Park KS; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m .today at Westover Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.

Stella Adelaide Wolf was born January 31, 1901 in Stacyville, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Nicholas Wolf and Margaret (Thome) Wolf. She married Clarence Jacob Adams, the son of Jacob and Bertine (Matson) Adams.
