Floyd E. Trettin, 75, of Route 1, Grafton, died on Monday, April 29, 1985, at his home, following a long illness. No funeral services were held. The body was cremated. Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines was in charge of arrangements.

Trrettin was a farmer until 1972 when he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Kathryn Rosenburg of St. Ansgar, Iowa, and Karen Scharper of Des Moines; one son, Richard of St. Ansgar; seven grandchidlren; one sister, LaVille Hollatz of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and one brother, Arthur of Grafton.
