Osage – Morton Schuchart, 57, farmer in Liberty Township, died suddenly Wednesday at his home, while he was assisting a truck deiver load hogs for sale. A coronary thrombosis was the cause of death. His twin brother, Orton, died in a similar manner in March, 1946.

The Schucharts had made preparations to journey to Texas Friday to spend some time. He was born to Justus and Mary Trepp Schuchart at Dysart. At the age of 18 he and his twin brother, Orton, went to White, South Dakota, where they farmed.

In 1915 he married Lois Barker, and the couple settled on the farm in Liberty Township, where they have since resided.

He leaves a wife, one son, Ralph, Des Moines; a daughter; Mrs. Maynard Rake, Zearing; three grandchildren; and four brothers; Arno, Pasadena, California; Evra, Dalhart, Texas; Arthur, Alamo, Texas; and Ralph, Dysart, Iowa. His parents and a twin brother preceded him in death.

Osage – Funeral rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Morton Schuchart, 57, at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Little Cedar Cemetery.
