Funeral services for William Foxen, 84, a lifelong resident of Mitchell County, were held on Saturday, December 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. The Rev. Leon Connally officiated, and burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery in Osage.

Mr. Foxen died on Thursday, December 19, 1985 at an Osage nursing home.

Mr. Foxen was born on December 6, 1901 near New Haven, the son of Ted and Anna (Miller) Foxen. He farmed near New Haven and was employed by Oliver Corp. in Charles City.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Schmidt of Kankakee, Illinois; great-nieces and nephews.
