RITES SET WEDNESDAY FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM
Carpenter, Iowa – Funeral services for Christian Larson, 71, who died Sunday morning at a hospital in Mason City from injuries suffered in an accident at the Milwaukee station, will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Deer Creek Lutheran church. The Rev. O. A. Langehough will officiate.
Mr. Larson was watching a crew unloading oil barrels when a rope broke and a barrel fell on him breaking a hip and causing other injuries.
Surviving are his invalid wife, two sons, Irving and Lenard, and a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Gladys) Cooper.

Christian George Larson was born October 22, 1874 in Brown County, Wisconsin, the son of Peter and Dorothea (Jacobsen) Larson. (his middle name from WWI Draft Registration). He married Kate Jennie Kilgore, the daughter of William and Ruth (Nash) Kilgore.
