Funeral services will be held in California for Gerald Cahill, 68, of Osage, Iowa, formerly of Newport Beach, California, who died on Saturday, January 26, 1985, at Faith Home.

Champion Funeral Home in Osage was in charge of local arrangements. He was the father of Rev. Jack Cahill, formerly a minister at United Church of Christ in Osage.

He is survived by his wife, Mariola "Pinky" Cahill of Newsport Beach; two sons, Chaplain John W. "Jack" Cahill, with the Navy in Hawaii, and Stephen in Newport Beach, Calif.; one sister, Patricia Cahill of Trustin, Calif.; two brothers, Frank of Downey, Calif, and Mark of Yorba Linda, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
