Mrs. Kunte Lohn died at her home in Rock township last Thurday morning of hemorrhage of the lungs. The deceased was about sixty seven years of age and was born and raised in Voos, Bergenstif Norway, where she was married in 1856. They emigrated to America, settling in Jefferson county, Wisconsin, where they remained for about four years.

They then came to St. Ansgar and lived here for four or five years when they purchased the farm in Rock township which has since been their home.

Her husband and seven children survive her. The children are: Louis, who is cashier of a bank at Foston, Minn.; Anne, who is married and resides in North Dakota; Herman, who lives at home; John, who is cashier of a bank at Towner, N.D.; Clara, the wife of G. Dammen of Rock township; Charles, who has a position in a bank in Minnesota; and Cecela, who lives at home.

The funeral was held on Monday of this week, Rev. Olsen officiating. All of her chidren were present except Anne who was unable to attend.
