FORMER RESIDENT OF OSAGE DIES AT ODD FELLOWS HOME

Osage – Ed McLaughlin, long- time resident of Osage, died Sunday at the Odd Fellows home at Mason City where he had been a resident for more than 10 years.

He was the last member of his immediate family. The body is at the Champion Funeral Home were rites are pending.

1900 US Census show him as being born March 1867 in Canada and according to the 1925 Iowa Census, he was the son of David McLaughlin and Mary A Royce.
