Adrian C. Megquire 1845-1907

A. C. Megquire, of Britt, Iowa, dropped dead on the streets of Mason City last Sunday. Mr. Megquire was very well known by nearly every man in northwest Iowa. For years he was one of the prominent figures at the Spirit Lake Chautauqua. For some time past he had been night operator at Britt. He was a brother of Mrs. P. E. Narey, of Spirit Lake, and the step-father of Dr. Clara Stoddard, formerly of Spirit Lake, but now of Boone, Iowa.
