MONA, IOWA — Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lyle, Minnesota, for Eddie L. Fossey, 84, who died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Mona.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Albin Perau of St. Ansgar; a son, Donald of Watertown, South Dakota; two brothers, Mense and George, both of LyLe, Minnesota; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Martin of Austin, Minnesota.

Death: Apr. 4, 1976

Edward Lewis Fossey was born April 22, 1891 in Mitchell County. He was baptized and confirmed at Mona Lutheran Church. He married Ella Borgine Haugen on October 28, 1917, at Mona. They had five children: Harold, Donald, Elizabeth, Elda and Rosella. Eddie died on April 4, 1976 at Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.

The funeral at Our Saviours Lutheran church at Lyle, and he was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona.
