SERVICES AT OSAGE FOR MARY BENNETTOsage – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bennett, 80, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Everett Pencook will officiate.
Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett died Tuesday night after being struck when she stepped into the path of a car as she crossed a highway here.

MEMORIAL GIFT
Osage – Mrs. Arthur Rathbone, Maitland, Fla., has sent a memorial gift to the First Methodist Church, Osage, in memory of her mother, the late Mrs. Mary Bennett. The gift included a brass missal stand and a red leather-covered revised standard version of the Holy Bible.

Mary (nee?) married Samuel Wilson Bennett, the son of George and Jennie Bennett.They had one daughter Ivol Pearl Bennett. Ivol was married 3 times. Her first husband was Stuart Byron. Angell, the son of Walter and Eldi (Benedict) Angell of Burr Oak, Mitchell, Iowa. They were divorced in 1954 in Orange Co., Florida.
Ivol and Stuart had one daughter Mary E. born in Medford, Steele Co., Minnesota
She married Arthur William Rathbone in 1955 in Orange Co., Florida; and she married Edgar Harold Shaffner on April 3, 1970 in Seminole Co., Florida.Ivol was born November 15, 1902 and died March 13, 1989 at Winter Park, Orange Co., Florida.
There are various little articles in the Globe Gazette about Mary visiting her daughter for several months at a time in Florida.
