HAZEL PATRICK DIES
SUDDENLY AT HOMEMrs. Warden Patrick, 41, died suddenly at her home in Little Cedar last Thursday afternoon. Although she had not been well for some time, she was about as usual when stricken with apoplexy. She died within twenty minutes.
Hazel Ellen Smith was born July 6, 1903, the daughter of George and Della Smith, at Woodbine, Iowa.
On November 6, 1922, she was united in marriage to Warden D. Patrick. To this union were born four children. They are Wallace, serving in the armed forces; Mary, a rural school teacher; and Betty, who graduated from the local high school this spring. One child died in infancy.
Very early in life, Mrs. Patrick united with the Methodist church and was a faithful member at Webster City.
Mrs. Patrick is survived by her husband, three children and three brothers: Charles, Rollo, and Berkley.
A short service, conducted by the Rev. Milton Nothdurft, was held at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage, Saturday, and the body was taken to Coon Rapids for interment.
