PITZEN SERVICES HELD IN STACYVILLE
Funeral service will be held at St Mary's Church Wednesday morning for Mrs. Nick Pitzen, 92, who died at her home Sunday evening. The Reverend H. N. Manternach will officiate

She was the oldest resident of Stacyville. Her husband died seven years ago at the age of 90.

Surviving are six children: Mrs. Frank Blake, Mrs. Bertha Theobald, Joe Pitzen and Fred Pitzen all of Stacyville, Mrs. Fred Smith, Glenwood Minn and Mrs. Nick Krebsbach of Napoleon North Dakota. Two sons; Will and Aloys preceded her in death several years ago.

Katherine Halbach was born January 4, 1850 in Wisconsin, the daughter of John Michael Halbach and Anna Elizabeth (Becker) Halbach. She married Nicholas Pitzen, the son of John Joseph Pitzen and Catharina (Langenfeld) Pitzen.
She and her husband are both buried in the Visitation Catholic Cemetery, Stacyville, Iowa.
