FOR MRS. BLUNT

Prominent Woman Dies
in Her Sleep Sunday

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Private funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Hauser Funeral Home for Mrs. Maude Ruth Blunt, 64, wife of B. B. Blunt, prominent stock buyer, who died early Sunday morning in her sleep at her home near Charles City. The Rev. Joseph G. Morgan, pastor of the First Congregational church of which she was a member, officiated, and interment was in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Blunt was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had not been in very good health for many years.

Maude Ruth Wilson was born to Marvin and Dora Wilson in Mitchell county, Iowa, on September 30, 1880.

On October 12, 1905, she was married to Barney B. Blunt at Osage. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. D. K. George, Glenview, Illinois, who survives with her father. There are two grandsons, two sisters, Mrs. George T. Hanson, Wibaux, Montana, and Mrs. Claude Reynolds, Pasadena, California, and two brothers, Charles Wilson, Osage and George Wilson, of Mitchell.
