OSAGE, IOWA - Alfred T. Olson, 87, of Osage, died Sunday (Aug. 17, 1997) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Melhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Alfred T. Olson was born February 6, 1910, near Meroa, in Mitchell County.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Bighley, of Lenexa, Kansas, and Patricia Schulz, Taft, California; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son [Mark Allen], one granddaughter, five brothers and four sisters.
