OSAGE, IOWA -- Olive Helen Olson, 81, died Saturday (July 12, 1997) at the Faith Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Melhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

She was born March 6, 1916, near Nashua in Floyd County.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred, of Osage; two daughters, Sharon Bighley of Lenexa, Kansas, and Patricia Schulz of Taft, California; one sister, Ida Belle Smith of Davenport; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son [Mark Allen], a granddaughter, an infant brother, three sisters and four brothers.
