Celia Kisner
Funeral services for Mrs. Celia Kisner, 85, of Osage were Thursday, October 25, 1984, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Reverend Leon Connally officiated at the service with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Osage. She died Monday, October 22, 1984, at the White House Nursing Home in Osage.
She was born March 6, 1899 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved to Iowa with her parents as a child.
She married Claude Kisner on April 28, 1924 in Mason City and the farmed in Cerro Gordo and Mitchell Counties, moving to Osage in 1948.
Mrs. Kisner is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou Kisner of Osage; three sons, Joseph "Clint" and Oliver "Tim" Kisner both of Osage and Raymond Kisner of Mitchell; a brother, William Dixon of Waukon; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and two brothers.
