Woman Dies In
Osage HospitalOSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. Olive McKenzie 82, died late Tuesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital fron a blood clot. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Osage. Burial will be in the Horton Cemetery at Horton.
She was born Olive Coffman on April 7, 1873, to Henry and Susan Coffman near Horton in Bremer County. She married Charles McKenzie Sept. 23, 1891. They lived on a farm near Horton, then in the Nashua area and moved to Osage in 1929.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. John Smith, Minneapolis; Mrs. Walter Rice, Harmony, Minnesota; Mrs. Alfred Olson, Mrs. Dale Benson and Mrs. Hazel Hall, all of Osage; four sons, Charles, Minneapolis; Ralph, Preston, Minnesota; Clarence, Austin, Minnesota, and George, Osage; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
