Thomas Theobald, 78, well known in Charlesburg, died at a hospital at Stacyville, Iowa, Saturday evening after two months illness. He was married to Margaret Weber of Charlesburg, January 10, 1900.

He is survived by his nine children, three of whom live in Sheboygan area, namely, Ernest, Albert and Mrs. Alfred (Cordula) Heymer, R. 3 Sheboygan, and 22 grandchildren.

His wife preceded him in death on April 2, 1954. One son, Joseph, also preceded him in death. Funeral services were held today at St. Marys Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville. Mrs. Catherine Flemming, Charlesburg, is a sister-in-law of the deceased

Thomas A Theobald was born February 13, 1879 in Stacyville, Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of John and Anna (Guelich) Theobald. He married Margaret Weber, the daughter of Arnold and Mary Margaret (Will) Weber.
