WILFRED 'BILL' L. MEYERHOFER JR.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Wilfred "Bill" L. Meyerhofer Jr., 59, joined Our Father in Heaven on Thursday (Nov. 21, 2002).

Bill, born in Iowa, transferred to Chapel Hill in 1995 from Boca Raton, Fla., through IBM, where he worked as an engineer/project manager for 33 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carla, of 38 years; his three children, Shelly Gonzalas, Holly Kennedy and Mark Meyerhofer; and five beautiful grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his parents, Fritz and Anna; seven brothers, and four sisters.

Please join family and friends in remembrance of Bill from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Walker's Funeral Home, 120 W. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill.

A funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 940 Carmichael St. Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514 or to the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center, Box 3843, Durham, N.C. 27710.
